A balance of powers
of heart and of soul
leads us together
in loves eternal role
Be it destiny or fate
our lives intertwined
brings us hope for tomorrow
and today's peace of mind
The world around us in chaos
for many ignore
the reason for calmness
of patience and more
Accept in your heart
mind and body will follow
sereeness, wisdom and health
for today and tomorrow
Quiet Thoughts Revealed
From a world of eternal slumber comes the beating of a gentle heart Its rise and fall timed with the thunder that rolls above.
From the darkness of time intertwined comes the faith of love unfurled Its silky fabric weaved in fates delicate threads
From passages of immortality is heard a dire cry For the pain that seeps into this slumber fate hath no sunder
The Immortality of
Life
From life's immortal blood drips the sands of time its salty tears fills the oceans river flow and roar its heat of passion melts the core volcanoes erupt and life is born
But remember... life's temper hath no understudy for when its passion cools ice envelopes all the earth quakes and the skies open but so does the tender breeze blow and the waves caress
Life is often harsh it cruelly takes kindly provides sweetly touches or tears apart always unrelenting
Accept life's immortal embrace Accept it for what it is It never hides its vengeance Or cloaks itself in fear Life simply is Eternal Truth, and purity Honesty in itself
There are no fake facades No need for mortal things There is no death at all For in the purest essence of mortal life the spark still fires life's eternal flame
Be earth, wind, fire or water life balances and moves all Life is more than spirit more than a mortal mind can comprehend Life is woven in around us, through us, in us Life quite simply is
So when you tread upon it dishonor and discard it think about what surrounds it Life is eternal renewal There is no escape from the simple truth Life does as it wills.
Upon the Tathered Window Paine
Upon the tathered window pane
I listen to the quiet rain.
The wind comes and goes
Sometimes it simply blows
But still the silence embraces
The memories of family faces
Their deaths collide
Emotional waves at high tide
They died of things that ought not be
They died of cancer and disease
My uncle lies upon the bed
St. Joseph's cross above his head
He sits and waits for death
With every struggled exhaled breath
He watches the clock
It ticks and it tocks
He can not look upon his wife
Without him she will live her life
His daughters eyes meet his
She knows and understands what is
He looks upon his son
Still tired from his run
He heard about his dad
He had heard the news was bad
Taking another labored breath
My uncle begs quietly for his death
Sometimes I think it is best alone
When one is empathetically prone
To sit in silence
In a quiet alliance
While upon a tathered window pane
I listen to the quiet rain
